What are our librarians reading, watching, and doing?

Columbo

Have you been scrolling through Netflix but not finding anything to watch? Or wondering what book to read next? Our librarians and staff have great recommendations for your stay-at-home time on the blog “Keeping Tabs.”

Librarians will be posting throughout the spring about the books they’re reading, movies and shows they’re watching, and music they’re listening to, as well as interesting socially distanced activities they’re engaged in. And plenty of great recs for kids and teens, too. Among the first few posts, Karen Ciccone (Dept. Head, Data & Visualization Services) touts NC State professor Rob Dunn’s book Never Home Alone about all the microbial life you share your home with, Chris Tonelli (External Relations Director) jams to Father John Misty’s Off-Key in Hamburg (the proceeds from which go to COVID-19 relief for musicians), and Beth Ashmore (Associate Head, Acquisitions & Discovery) waxes nostalgic about the 70s true-crime show Columbo.
